Palina P.

Hi! I’m Palina, a native Russian speaker from Belarus. I’ve been teaching English since 2021 and Russian as a foreign language since 2022, mostly to adults. I have a degree in Linguistics and Foreign Language Teaching and I’m currently doing an MBA. I’m a language learner myself, currently studying Spanish, Italian and Turkish, so I know exactly how it feels to forget words or be nervous about speaking. I’d be happy to help you feel more confident in a new language.

Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics and Foreign Language Teaching, Belarusian State University of Foreign Languages, Minsk MBA (in progress), Bahçeşehir University, Istanbul

My approach is communicative and practical. The goal is simple: to help you use the language confidently in real life, not just know the rules. We start by defining your goals, whether that’s everyday conversation, work, travel or exams, and I build a personalised plan around them. Lessons follow a clear structure: warm-up conversation, new material, practice, and a speaking task to put it all together. Grammar is always explained clearly and in context, so it makes sense and stays with you. Between lessons, you get homework and review materials created specifically for you. I work with my own materials and use interactive tools such as Miro, Edvibe and Wordwall, with lessons held on Google Meet or Zoom. You can expect a calm, focused and supportive environment where questions are always welcome :)
