I am a dedicated, patient, organized, and learner-centered mathematics teacher with 11 years of teaching experience, consisting of 10 years of classroom teaching in the DepEd setting and 1 year of online teaching. These experiences have strengthened my skills in lesson planning, classroom management, learner assessment, differentiated instruction, and the clear delivery of mathematical concepts. I am adaptable and responsive to the different abilities, learning styles, and academic needs of my students. I use real-life examples, guided activities, formative assessments, and constructive feedback to make mathematics meaningful and easier to understand. I also maintain a positive and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, sharing their ideas, and learning from their mistakes.

My teaching style is learner-centered, structured, and supportive. As an ESL and mathematics teacher, I use the “I Do, We Do, You Do” approach to help learners gradually develop understanding, confidence, communication skills, and independence. During the “I Do” phase, I clearly explain and model mathematical processes and English language skills. During the “We Do” phase, I guide learners through discussions, speaking exercises, reading activities, collaborative tasks, and mathematical problem-solving. During the “You Do” phase, learners independently apply their knowledge through exercises, performance tasks, speaking and writing activities, and problem-solving tasks. My lessons are practical, interactive, and responsive to learners’ different abilities and academic needs. I use real-life examples, formative assessments, and constructive feedback to monitor their progress and adjust my teaching strategies. Through this approach, I help learners become confident and independent communicators, critical thinkers, and problem solvers.
