I am a qualified Early Childhood Educator and an experienced private tutor with many years of teaching experience. I started tutoring alongside my university studies in 2015, teaching English to adults, children and teenagers at different levels. I have worked with children through games and creative activities, prepared teenagers for language-level exams, and also taught English in a children’s play centre in Spain. After graduating, I moved to Bristol, where I continued working in education, moving through nurseries, outdoor schools and finally as a Primary School Teacher. During my final year there, I also taught Spanish to a high-school student, putting into practice the knowledge and skills I had gained through my ELE (Spanish as a Foreign Language) training. I am a native Spanish speaker and fluent in English, and I have experience teaching both languages to children, teenagers and adults. I am currently based in Basel and looking for new teaching opportunities where I can continue sharing my love for languages and education.

Although I have experience teaching students of different ages, I particularly enjoy working with children and young people up to 14 years old. I like to adapt my lessons to each student’s interests, level and personality, using games, creative activities and dynamic resources to make learning engaging and meaningful. I have a variety of teaching resources available and enjoy finding new ways to keep students motivated and involved. I also follow the CEFR framework to support a clear and structured progression, while adapting my lessons to complement what students are learning at school. This allows me to reinforce their knowledge, build confidence and support their overall language development.
