Hi, I am Patricia Joy S. Mandi from the Philippines! I have 2 years of teaching experience. I’m a passionate and approachable educator who enjoys helping learners feel more confident when using English. I believe that learning is most effective when students feel comfortable, encouraged, and free to make mistakes. My goal is to create engaging conversations and activities that help learners improve naturally while enjoying the process. I have experience helping others develop their communication skills, and I enjoy adapting my approach to different learning styles and personalities. I’m patient, supportive, and always happy to celebrate small improvements along the way. Outside of teaching, I enjoy listening to music, watching movies and series, exploring new places, and spending time with family and friends. I’m also interested in learning about different cultures and meeting people from different backgrounds. I look forward to getting to know my students and helping them reach their language-learning goals!

My teaching methodology is communicative and interactive. Rather than focusing only on memorization and written exercises, I encourage students to use English in practical, real-life situations. I use guided conversations, questions, role-playing, discussions, vocabulary-building activities, and personalized feedback to help learners improve their fluency and accuracy. I also adjust my teaching style according to each learner’s level, goals, personality, and preferred way of learning. I believe that making mistakes is a natural and important part of language learning. I aim to provide constructive corrections while maintaining a positive atmosphere so students feel comfortable expressing their ideas. I also encourage learners to become more independent and confident communicators by giving them opportunities to speak, think critically, and apply what they have learned. My areas of subject expertise include conversational English, general English, vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, speaking practice, and communication skills. I am particularly interested in helping learners improve their confidence in everyday conversations and develop the ability to communicate naturally and effectively.
