Good day! My name is Careen from the Philippines. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and I'm a TEFL-certified English teacher. I have experience as a personal tutor, where I helped students improve their English communication skills. My teaching style is student-centered, interactive, and supportive. I like to create a comfortable environment where students feel confident speaking English without being afraid of making mistakes. During my lessons, I usually start with a short warm-up or review, followed by the main lesson and guided practice. I use simple explanations, examples, questions, repetition, and conversation activities to help students understand and apply what they learn. I also adjust my teaching approach based on the student's age, English level, learning pace, and individual needs. For younger learners, I use engaging activities, visuals, and positive reinforcement. For adults, I focus more on practical communication, vocabulary, pronunciation, and real-life situations. My goal is not only to teach English but also to help students build confidence, improve their communication skills, and enjoy learning English.
