I am an Inclusion Support Teaching Assistant at Ash Mount School. I previously served as a Grade 8 Homeroom Teacher and Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA). Deeply committed to holistic student growth, I have designed and implemented specialized interventions focused on Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) and behavioral development. My versatile pedagogical toolkit also includes extensive experience as an English as an Additional Language (EAL) teacher and a facilitator for primary school learning camps.

In my sessions, I love to make English Literature, Essay Writing, Grammar, and Public Speaking less intimidating to students. I treat mistakes as proof of progress and break big, overwhelming projects into bite-sized, achievable steps. A typical lesson with me always kicks off with a quick, friendly check-in to see how the student is feeling, followed by interactive, collaborative practice where we tackle concepts together, ending with a quick recap of the session. My goal is to leave the student feeling capable, inspired, and proud of their own growth by the end of every hour.
