Hello! I'm Teacher Dana, and I am passionate about helping students build confidence in learning new languages. As an online English tutor, I strive to create a friendly, supportive, and interactive learning environment where students feel comfortable expressing themselves. I adapt my lessons to each learner's needs, goals, and pace to make learning both enjoyable and effective. In addition to teaching English, I am also available for basic Japanese conversation practice. While I am not yet a fluent Japanese speaker, I can confidently communicate in everyday situations and enjoy helping beginners practice simple conversations, vocabulary, greetings, and common expressions. I believe learning together through consistent practice is one of the best ways to improve language skills. I am patient, encouraging, and committed to helping students grow with confidence. I look forward to meeting learners from different backgrounds and supporting them in their English studies or beginner-level Japanese conversation practice.

My lessons are student-centered, interactive, and tailored to each learner's goals and learning style. I believe that every student learns at a different pace, so I create a comfortable and encouraging environment where they can build confidence without feeling pressured. For English lessons, I focus on improving speaking, pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, reading, and everyday communication through conversations, role-playing, games, and practical activities. I encourage students to speak as much as possible to develop fluency and confidence. For beginner Japanese conversation practice, I help students learn basic greetings, self-introductions, common expressions, simple vocabulary, and everyday conversations. While I am not a native or fluent Japanese speaker, I enjoy practicing with fellow beginners and creating a supportive space where students can gain confidence using the language. My goal is to make every lesson engaging, enjoyable, and meaningful. I celebrate each student's progress and provide positive feedback to help them stay motivated and continue improving.
