Hello! My name is Mae, and I'm a licensed teacher with a Bachelor's Degree in Education, majoring in English. I would describe myself as friendly, patient, and someone who genuinely enjoys communicating with people from different backgrounds. I believe that every student learns at their own pace, so I always make sure to create a supportive and encouraging learning environment where they feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. I am also a member of International Volunteers, and that experience has helped me become more flexible, open-minded, and adaptable when working with people from diverse cultures. It has strengthened my ability to adjust my teaching approach to meet each student's individual needs. As a teacher, my goal is not only to help students improve their English skills but also to build their confidence so they can communicate effectively in real-life situations. I look forward to making learning enjoyable, engaging, and meaningful for every student.

I start my lessons with greetings and warm-up questions if the student is an adult, and I use songs and a little bit of dance if my students are kids. I usually follow 70%-30% rule in speaking , which means I let my student talk 70% of the time, while I talk 30% of the time. I prepare and use materials according to their requests and levels. I always make sure to make my students feel comfortable, and not afraid to make mistakes to improve their confidence.
