Hello, good evening here from the Philippines. My name is Abegail, but you can call me Abi. I am a Licensed Professional Teacher with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. I also hold a TEFL Certificate, which means I am specially trained to teach English as a Second Language. I have been an Online ESL teacher for three years, which I have the wonderful opportunity to work with students from Vietnam, China, Korea, and Japan. I believe that learning should be fun, engaging, and tailored to each student's needs, so I always strive to create a positive and encouraging classroom environment.

As an ESL teacher, I use simple language, visual aids, and real-life examples. I encourage students to talk a lot and practice listening. I give clear explanations and lots of practice. I also use games and activities to make learning fun. As an ESL teacher, I teach adult students by using real-life topics they care about. I speak clearly and slowly. I focus on practical skills like conversations, reading, and writing. I listen to their needs and goals. I give them practice and feedback to help them improve confidently. During an online class, if a student is naughty, I stay calm and polite. I remind them of the rules and focus on the lesson. I ask them to pay attention and be respectful. If needed, I talk privately with the student later. I try to keep the class fun and positive. A good online teacher is patient, clear, and engaging. They create a comfortable environment where students feel confident to practice. They use diverse teaching methods and adapt to each student's needs. They are also respectful, encouraging, and motivated to help students succeed. My teaching principle is to promote a positive and supportive learning environment where students feel confident and motivated to improve their language skills. I believe in personalized, engaging lessons that cater to each student's needs, encouraging active participation and continuous growth. My goal is to make learning enjoyable, meaningful, and empowering for every student. My teaching motto is: "Learn with curiosity, grow with confidence."That means I encourage learners to approach learning with a sense of curiosity and a desire to discover new things. At the same time, I want them to build confidence in their abilities as they progress. Essentially, it's about enjoying the process of learning while believing in themselves and their potential to succeed.
