I am a Psychology graduate currently working as a Preschool Teacher at a Reggio Emilia-inspired school in the Philippines. My role involves creating engaging and developmentally appropriate lesson plans, assessing children's learning and developmental progress, documenting observations, and designing meaningful learning experiences that foster curiosity, creativity, and holistic growth. With a background in psychology, I have a strong understanding of child development, behavior, and social-emotional learning, allowing me to build positive relationships with children while supporting their individual needs. Teaching Style

As a Preschool Teacher in a Reggio Emilia-inspired school, I believe that every child is capable, curious, and learns best through meaningful, hands-on experiences. My teaching approach focuses on creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children are encouraged to explore, ask questions, express their ideas, and develop independence. I design developmentally appropriate lesson plans based on children's interests, observations, and learning needs. I facilitate play-based and inquiry-driven activities that promote cognitive, social-emotional, language, physical, and creative development. I regularly observe and assess each child's progress through documentation, portfolios, and authentic assessments, using these insights to plan meaningful learning experiences and support each child's individual growth. I value strong partnerships with families and colleagues, believing that collaboration is essential in supporting children's learning and overall development.
