TRIP TO THE AVA AND MEETING WITH THE LOCAL
ARTIST

Experiment with symmetry, tessellation and
fractals by making your own arrangements
and folding origami. Work on the art project
with local illustrator - Scott Wakefield.

TRIP TO THE ANDERSON'S SEED AND GARDEN.

Explore and discover the nature. What do pinecones and sunflowers have to do
with math? Find out as you look at
different flowers, seeds and shells. Learn
about the golden rectangle, Fibonacci number and
other mysteries!

TRIP TO A LOCAL STORE AND BAKERY.

Cook up some of your favorite foods and
snacks. Enjoy your treats as you learn
more about fractions, learn how to budget your
money and balance a checkbook.

TRIP TO THE LOGAN AIRPORT.
|
Come and have fun doing experiments and making
your own astrolabes, sun clock
and straw thermometer. Go with us to the airport
to find out how to not get lost in the sky
