At
MyTutor24 we guarantee that if you participate in our program
for 36 hours over a 12 week period, you will show noticeable
improvement in your coursework/grades. 36 hours is all we ask,
three times a week for twelve weeks. We believe that our methods
work so well that if you try our program and do not see expected*
improvement in performance, we will give you an additional 12
hours of free tutoring!
1.
Students must attend 3 sessions a week without exception.
If a session is missed, a make up time must be arranged within
that week.
2. Students must take our assessment test before the tutoring
sessions begins. We use this assessment to target the areas
that need improvement.
3. We ask that the parents be involved with the tutoring.
We will provide tutoring, but parents need to make sure that
all homework is completed and turned in to the school teacher
on time.
4. Parents need to send us information on academic work done
in the student’s classroom. We need to know what is
being covered in class to help your child prepare for assignments
and tests.
5. Parents or teachers need to provide tutors with copies
of graded assignments and tests. We use this information to
assess ongoing student performance and make necessary modifications.
This provides us with information we need about the student’s’
strengths and weaknesses.
6. We expect the student to undergo self study in addition
to attending out tutoring sessions. We will provide our students
with extra worksheets, study aids and tutoring - but need
our students to make the effort to succeed. These efforts
will be monitored weekly by our tutors.
7. The nature of expected improvement will be decided between
the tutor and student/parent before the second tutoring session.
This will be communicated in writing and parents will be expected
to sign the written format prior to continuation of tutoring
sessions. Electronic signatures will be used as needed to
speed the acceptance process. Parents wishing to send in physical
paper copies of the performance expectations can do so by
request.
36 hour challenge applies to each subject separately. Tutoring in each subject needs to happen for 36 hours for challenge rules to apply.
Parents need to authorize MyTutor24 to reach out to student’s school teachers to gain information and monitor performance during the course of the program.
To match tutoring with classroom work, parents are responsible for providing copies of student text books to our tutors. Upon payment from parents for text books, MyTutor24 will also be happy to acquire these text books from the most economical source and supply them to our tutors.
Challenge applies to students without any demonstrated learning disabilities of any kind. Special needs students require additional assistance in assimilating and understanding information and it is our belief that a compressed course of tutoring sessions will be counter productive in such circumstances.
