Our Value Building Skills Getting Started 36 hour challenge
Why does your child have difficulty in learning?
  Most learning difficulties that students have revolve around difficulty in absorbing or understanding reading material, completing academic work or anxiety about quantitative skills, writing, or test taking and reluctance to speak in class.
What do we do to address these difficulties?

We use a collaborative approach to understand the fears your child will have around problem solving and learning. As part of our periodic assessment, we will monitor your child's ability to understand and grasp new material and suggest methods to overcome the challenges they encounter. In addition, through a series of confidence building exercises, where we offer test based tutoring, we will provide an opportunity for your child to understand the steps involved in learning. Heuristic methods, frameworks used to identify solutions to problems, have been used with success to make students under stand the problem solving process. An IDEAL method, given below, is an example of a method we will provide to your child for learning.

*   Identify the problem.
*   Define and represent the problem.
*   Explore possible solution strategies.
*   Act on the strategies.
*   Look back and evaluate.

In essence, we will provide tutoring assistance with a focus to overcome the cognitive and emotional barriers your child will have towards problem solving.
Measuring improvements in effectiveness

In order for us to measure student progress and effectiveness of our teaching methods, we will perform a variety of assessments including

Mapping Bullet   Student curriculum/test score effectiveness
Mapping Bullet   Measure student satisfaction through tutor quality assessments and performance
Mapping Bullet   Student and tutor Performance against mile stone plans

In the end, we believe that a well managed assessment program will be a true differentiator to elevating academic performance of your child.
