Our Approach
We believe that most parents and their children have specific short term learning objectives when they look for tutoring support. But in addition to short term objectives, there is a specific set of long term objectives that is often not understood. We provide here our nine step interactive and comprehensive program to provide you with a framework to understand our approach.
Your Unique Needs

We at MyTutor24 will work with you to understand your overall academic objectives for your child.   This may vary from,  "I want my child to maintain an A average in school" to "I want my child to be able to get into medical school." Once we understand the long term goals, we will work with you and your child to develop a program that will help in achieving the desired outcome over the long term. In addition, we will also work with you to make sure that we understand your short term milestones that are important for you and your child.

For example, we had parents come and tell us, "Can you help improve the math ability for our child so that he can pass the AIMS test?" And we do! We believe in providing customized tutoring that provides focus in areas that you and your student choose.

Understanding Pre-Requisites

Before we begin our program, we will go through a diagnostic exercise to understand your student's abilities and understand areas where help might be needed. We believe that this is an important first step to develop an individualized learning plan which we will use through out the program to assess performance against target milestones.

Present Content for Review/Engagement with Your Student
We offer a comprehensive set of educational content that your child can review anytime. Again, we believe that providing access to this content beyond the tutoring session is essential for success. By offering content that is accessible to your child all 24 hours, we provide an opportunity to develop familiarity with the educational material used during tutoring sessions. In addition, it also enhances the learning experience by being available for independent self study beyond the class room and tutoring sessions. An engaged student becomes a motivated student.
Feedback & Guidance
As your child goes through the learning process, we will assess your child's comprehension, and provide corrections and feedback in a sustained manner. This provides the student an opportunity to engage with the tutor as well as provide an opportunity for the tutor to gauge progress of your child. This guided approach to learning is an integral part of our offering, thus enabling productive use of the tutoring sessions.
Appraisal & Independent Practice
As part of the assessment process, the student will periodically take practice tests and quizzes. Some of these will be done during the tutoring sessions and some will be provided for independent practice. This will be supported by having access to our 24 hour online content for periodic review. The goal here is to ensure that we can actively influence and build confidence for your child throughout learning process. Once your child becomes comfortable with the Learn, Review, Diagnose and Correct process, it will become easier to learn new and difficult concepts. This ensures that the process of learning itself becomes second nature and builds confidence for independent study.
Linking with Class & Homework
In addition to learning through our guided tutorials, our tutors will be available to work with your child and help them understand and complete their homework. We will also work with your child to identify and resolve any areas of difficulty they have with the material they were taught in school. We will be available to provide support during non tutoring days via email and phone.

Section not yet labeled - Every child learns through an individualized process that is both adaptive as well as reactive.

The adaptive and reactive processes are stimulated by exposure to quality of instruction, teaching methods employed, medium of interaction (classroom or online), personality of the teacher and student, quality and ease of use of educational content, degree of personalization of the teaching process
